The City That Lost Its Way.....

  The City That I love, born in, grew up in, went to school in, got in trouble in, gained my political knowledge in, became a thinker in, became a commentator in, became a proponent of truth in, became a community conscious builder in, became a soldier for the powerless in, became a true faith believer in, became a man; Has Lost Its Way, Never To be Found Again! That city is none other than New Orleans, not at all necessary to say the state it's in, the name New Orleans says it all. Once upon a time the Queen Jewel of the South; It is now a sad remnant of its past. Just as like a cheap dusty gem piece of costume jewelry tucked away in a musty corner of a run down flea market in the Vieux Carre. No amount of parades, festivals, super bowls, second lines, and building of swanky new hotels can cover up this very sad and most tragic condition of facts. The people are sadly and vastly disillusioned BELIEVING THE FALSITY of the so called 'American Dream'; All that is needed to do, open their eyes and see the cruel lie all around.  The elected public officials are disgusting and inept to say the least with an exception of one maybe two, with none better on the way. The police department is still way to racist and corrupt, hearkening flashbacks of killings like:  'The Algiers 7 Fischer Project 1980 Police Shootings' and the 'Danzinger Bridge Police Shootings 2005'.  With a few good officers trying their best, to protect and serve, righteously. Crime is insane in New Orleans with daily murders and violent carjackings; And the District Attorney even is not safe to drive his elderly mother on a recent outing without getting carjacked. As a true son of the city I love it is disheartening and very sad to say our city has lost its way.

 Let's Really Be Real In The Truth TM ; To All Peoples In America. 

This country that we call America has from its very inception and always will be for that matter a country connected to and born of the Black man of and by his knowledge, intelligence, wisdom, explorations, creativity and of course his blood, sweat and tears. It has been said many times by laureate individuals that America is a country of immigrants (the amalgamation of) proven by our present population of immigration explosion (legal and illegal) and the challenges that come with it. However in this vast melting pot if you will, there are only two peoples that cannot be defined, labeled or categorized as immigrants first the Black man and of course the Native American Indian (as defined in today's current speak) in that order. To posit more succinctly; The genesis of the Native American Indian begins with the Black men of Africa visiting the lands we now call the Americas so long, long ago. The Black man's semen, saliva, blood, sweat, tears and yes DNA is inextricably woven in and part of every aspect and acre of this country called America this cannot be refuted. This of course will always be denied by those who refuse to accept the truth; Even with crystal clear evidence of facts glaring at them in their eyes. Do the research and the study objectively. Prove this wrong (if you can) to yourself.
