ANOTHER RE-HASH, RE-GURGITATED,      RE-RUN OF THE SAME PUKE ILK IN CITY HALL. THAT HAS PLAGUED THIS CITY AND KEPT IT DOWN AND OUT FOR ALL THESE YEARS !      JUST  LIKE THE MANIPULATIVE POWER PEOPLE BEHIND THESE PUPPETS THEY     PROP UP, LIKE IT.

"Perdido" the namesake of the street location of New Orleans city hall  since 1957 to current day is of Spanish etymology and simply means lost, but also sloppy or undecent; And variable meanings of usage like: a waste of time, a hopeless situation, offensive and vulgar, lack of morals and good judgment, gone astray, complete idiocy and a really hopeless case just to name a few of the applicable interpretive uses. It seems eerily clairvoyant that the city planners chose this named street to housed the new very modernistic building (at the time) as the seat of the newly formed consolidated city/parish government of the city of New Orleans. Why? Do you ask. Since the inception of this location as the seat of city government there has been a myriad steady stream of rank incompetent characters that have served in the mayoralty of the city from deLesseps Story Morrison (aka) Chep  Morrison to the current new mayor. ( I KNOW, I KNOW - THERE WERE MANY BEFORE; I START WITH deLesseps BECAUSE HE WAS THE REAL POSITIVE LIGHT BETWEEN WHAT CAME BEFORE AND AFTER HIM. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND SEE EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN.)

These individuals with one or two exceptions have personified the very essence of the word, 'perdido' in it's multi-layered very derogatory use. It is very intentional that this mayor's name is not written in this opine.  Let's be clear this is not a personal attack on this individual, it is the expound of what our society has allowed to perpetuate in the city I love. What is very clear our citizenry has manage to elect for two terms no less, a true sociopathic, socially pathetic person in this mayor now gone; [ In the words of my paternal grandmother in classic New Orleanianese TM ' Thannng Gaawwd ! ' ] that is totally incapable of regret or contrition by owning up to her despicable acts, but to the contrary boisterously, crudely and with zero accountability venomously defends them. This is conduct indicative of an emptiness of ethics in regards to moral obligations, rules and principles of the office of the mayor with an arrogant callous disrespect of the citizens of this city. This truly is especially disheartening, that as the first elected black female mayor this person comports themselves in such a manner however, this should not come as a surprise. This type of female is identified in the bible as a new creation Jeremiah 31 v 22 kjv 'How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man' for the punishment of the ever backsliding daughter Israel. What is indicative of this verse in the bible, back then to current day, that the woman has female attributes (the body of a female) yet with the brutish and beastly nature of an aggressive man in spirit, personality and coarseness in comportment so much so the woman's physical appearance begins to mimic the man burly arms and thick shoulders and a broad back with a hard looking face of a man. Look around you in today's society you will see this all over. And this is NOT referencing the LGBTQ even though you will see many similarities of this new creation as stated in Jeremiah 31 v 22 kjv. These are regular females that have taken on the masculinity of a man, thus ' a woman shall compass a man' in other words a physical woman's body on the inside and outside with all of female attributes and bodily functions on the inside and outside but totally void of all female nature femininity, womanliness, of being feminine, the quality of being womanly socially. Do you begin to see it now. When you pay attention and look it is ALL around us in every sector of our society. The City That Lost Its Way.....

  The City That I love, born in, grew up in, went to school in, got in trouble in, gained my political knowledge in, became a thinker in, became a commentator in, became a proponent of truth in, became a community conscious builder in, became a soldier for the powerless in, became a true faith believer in, became a man; Has Lost Its Way, Never To be Found Again! That city is none other than New Orleans, not at all necessary to say the state it's in, the name New Orleans says it all. Once upon a time the Queen Jewel of the South; It is now a sad remnant of its past. Just as like a cheap dusty gem piece of costume jewelry tucked away in a musty corner of a run down flea market in the Vieux Carre. No amount of parades, festivals, super bowls, second lines, and building of swanky new hotels can cover up this very sad and most tragic condition of facts. The people are sadly and vastly disillusioned BELIEVING THE FALSITY of the so called 'American Dream'; All that is needed to do, open their eyes and see the cruel lie all around.  The elected public officials are disgusting and inept to say the least with an exception of one maybe two, with none better on the way. The police department is still way to racist and corrupt, hearkening flashbacks of killings like:  'The Algiers 7 Fischer Project 1980 Police Shootings' and the 'Danzinger Bridge Police Shootings 2005'.  With a few good officers trying their best, to protect and serve, righteously. Crime is insane in New Orleans with daily murders and violent carjackings; And the District Attorney even is not safe to drive his elderly mother on a recent outing without getting carjacked. As a true son of the city I love it is disheartening and very sad to say our city has lost its way.
